This comes from a lot of different places: Firstly, Inspired by my first exposure to Spring Fling in 2013. What is Spring Fling you ask? Well Spring Fling is a party weekend at Bard college where during the day there's mad activities and at night there's music from visiting performers (Like we've had GZA, Azalea Banks, Jay Rock, and even Lil B lmao) and DJs.

Also during this time is where a lot of people go buckwild into the nightlife, partake in experimental drugs, and all in all just expose themselves to this "thrill" as temporary as it is.

This same idea came BACK to me last year after seeing a play called Broke House at our school which after seeing it kinda fucked me up. You see the play (and creators/people in it can please correct me if I'm messing the message up entirely) from what I gathered was of these kids running away to this shady house where it seemed like they just did nothing but party and lustful activities with no regards to the shadiness of the host. It seemed everything just was in that moment.
Temporary until a certain point.
And soon the line is blurred between what is fantasy and what is reality.
