"Standrd Deviation, a collective/label. An idea inspired by a conversation last Christmas with my dad and me and my friend Montanez. It's that age old question every parent asks their graduation-bound kid: "What's next after college?" And honestly, it stumped me for a while. I had some kind of idea of where I wanted to go but how to get there or what that place specifically was, was an unknown.

Thus the idea of Standrd Deviation came about, my man Monty came with me with the name and we got all our fellow soon-to-be grads together to solidify this becoming a thing. Afterwords, we spread the love to a few of our other amazing pals we got to know and play with being at Bard these 4 years, and well, the rest is well history. Together gathered up all the material we've got to record within my studio these last 2 and a half years (plus some of this summer) and here you have it. A mix of genres from hip hop to house to even jazz-trap to R&B and some remixes to bat.

That place that I wanna get to is still a bit of an unknown. But now, with some future projects in the works (yes, Moonvibes as well), the fog is starting to clear up. But hell this project entirely is a demonstration nowhere near the final form like Frieza. Hell, I'm still learning better ways to mix, better ways to record live instruments, better ways to write even more arrangements on top of production, hell I wanna use more types of instruments in the future man. This is just a peek into the talent up here around these talented Bardians in a society I felt never really gave em enough shine.

My college piano teacher once told my pops he sees me composing and writing for movies one of these days. Well, consider this a preview (pg-13 for explicit language I'd say lol) mixed with gag reels and outakes of some pretty dope-ass motion pictures soon to come.
